My Immortal (Hulk) Episode 6 - #JustClownyThings
- John Podcast - Bruce Banner, broadcasting from Shadow Base, informs the world that he intends to declare war on the human world. We see news coverage of this on RoxxNews, RoxxRadio, and in print, letting us know that he's started a Green Jackets/Green Vests movement. Banner talks to Amadeus Cho, who is not on board, and Namor, who is. Meanwhile, Jackie McGee gets a talking to about her Hulk coverage. We end by seeing that the head of Roxxon is The Minotaur, a big evil bull guy.
- Shane - A triptych of convening stories: our first follows the Minotaur of Roxxon as he discusses business operations with his cabinet. [Ted Knight voice] Meanwhile, at Shadow Base Site G: the Hulk and his science team discuss plans to translocate in an effort to take down Roxxon. (I'm so scared. Why do I get so scared doing these?) The soon-to-be-mutant (B.E.R.Z.E.R.K.E.R) guards of Roxxon's data center spar in their mutated form before getting the dropped on by the trans(gender)ported(located) Hulk. (Hulk wrecks shit.) The Hulk smashes up the data center, much to the chagrin of Roxxon's board, especially The Minotaur. The Hulk reveals that he is microdosing the sun.
- Jean - After the destruction of the Roxxon West Data Center, Dario Agger is looking for a new strategy against the Hulk. What he has decided on is a mass media campaign, not just what we saw last issue but an attempt to co-opt the image of the Hulk, with Roxxon-branded masks such as you saw on the cover. Meanwhile, in Wyoming, a Roxxon security guard takes stock of his life and circumstances: he sees the current state of things as inferior, he sees his daughter looking at him and hears, in her head, "this is the nastiest skank bitch I have ever met, do not trust him, he is a fugly chud" and he hates her for it. This all comes to a head when the Teen Brigade, in Hulk masks, protest Roxxon in this Wyoming city, forcing this security guard to stand face to face with his daughter and point a gun at her before The Hulk drops in and basically saves the day. Dario Agger, frustrated with The Hulk's resilience, journeys to a monster island to get backup and sees a big white guy.
- Jean - Dario Agger sends 4 big monsters to Arizona, Hulk fights them.
- Shane - The Hulk, trapped in the stomach of a monster which is filled with parasites and acid and et cetera, is in so much pain that he regresses to Savage Hulk. Outside of the beast's stomach, all hell continues to break loose and the Gamma People do their best to keep a lid on the situation. Alpha Flight also comes in to handle the situation as best they can. In the midst of all this, The Minotaur is watching it on TV, amused. The Hulk breaks out of the monster's stomach and starts to break things before being confronted by the hulk of zurr en ahhr, or whatever this yeti's name is, who is in the sky glowing and circling up worms in big light circles, it's a little confusing what's on that final page.
