He was recently the center of a massive explosion, and in the aftermath Gamma Flight are attempting to neutralize him. Dr. McGowan and co. are attempting to translocate the Hulk and Rick Jones back to base. Their attempts are now interrupted by the glowing ghoul from Fallout, breaking out of its tube to attack. 00:51:20 37 - Jean - We see Del Frye die as his dad injects the gamma into him, and then we see it again, with The Leader, and then we see it again, with The Leader. Now, The Leader is in Shadow Base in the body of Del Frye, and he confronts Doc Samson, speaking to him in Shadow Base before speaking to him in Hell as he explains part of his plan to control the flow of gamma individuals through green doors.
